Hello, coaches:
Regional tournaments are fast approaching, and we are still looking to fill many open spots, especially in NW tournaments. The tournament hosts, all teachers and coaches themselves, have dedicated a lot to ensure the tournament is successful. Without team provided volunteers, student experience will be impacted, and many of the host sites may not want to support WSO in the long term. So please respond to the regional tournament director’s email, and ask each of your student’s parents for help – Just two to three hours of volunteering (without any previous experience) will be so impactful.
In particular, NW regional (C) at RAHS is using this form to collect volunteer information. This tournament is on March 8th. You don’t have to be a competitor’s parent to volunteer.
We also have a couple of other updates:
1. Our GameAgent event designer, Ron Wright, continued developing tutorial materials for those who are interested in machine learning and Game design. You can find his latest video on this website. If you have any questions, feel free to contact him directly (email also cc:ed here). https://sciolygameagent.wordpress.com/
