Each of the four regions in Washington has a regional board that facilitates regional tournaments, clinics, and invitational tournaments.

The 4 regions oversee 5 regional tournaments in Washington:

Eastern - alternates between Spokane Community College and Spokane Falls Community College - B/C tournaments at both locations

Northwest - two regional tournaments annually at Highline Community College and Seattle Central Community College that each host B/C tournaments

South Central - B division only regional tournament at Yakima Valley Community College

Southwest - Lower Columbia College hosts B/C tournament

The WSO state board relies heavily on the dedication of volunteer board members to carry out each region's Science Olympiad activities.
